Telephones
Some phones have extra amplification and an
inductive coupler built into the handset. This
enables people who use hearing aids with a "Telecoil"
setting to use the phone. A telephone amplifier
can also be added to a telephone to make calls
louder.
Radio microphone systems
can also be used to listen at a distance in
classrooms, conferences, meetings or in more
noisy listening situations. |
